Dear all
This email goes to all participants and all teachers at the
Winter School on Astrobiology in Finnish Lapland. 

Before I forget, Merry Christmas to all of you, and all the best
for the new year. I hope it will be a good start, with the
Winter School on Astrobiology!

When you arrive at Kittila, there should always be a regular
bus waiting when planes arrive. If there is a problem, please
ask around. If everything fails, a taxi shouldn't been too
expensive I hope. (Keep the receipt!) The village of Sirkka is
not terribly big. The bus stops definitely at the Hotel
Levitunturi, and everything else is in close proximity.
The cabins for the students are in about 600 m walking distance
and the street is "Hissitie 13". You may ask the bus driver,
who may be kind enough to stop there. The cabins are available
after 14:00 on 2 January. They are open when you come, but please
make sure you don't lock anybody out who hasn't arrived yet.

I'm arriving with the plane at 17:45 on Monday, 2 Jan, and
so will be most of the others.

We will stay overnight in the Totovaara wilderness cabin. We will
go there by bus, but then do skiing trips. Those who want to walk
around or stay in the cabin can also do that.

as it becomes necessary.
