Pencil Code User Meeting
Copenhagen, 13-15 July 2006
Practical Info
- Visas
Denmark is in the Schengen area. If you are a EU resident within
the Schengen borders, you do not need a visa.
Other participants are advised to contact the nearest
Danish
embassy or consulate
or travel agency for information about the passport and visa requirements for
entry to Denmark.
You can also look in the Danish immigration office web site for information
about
visa application procedures and required documentation.
Contact the conference secretary if you need a letter from us
to support your visa application.
- Money matters
Denmark is not in the Euro currency area. The Danish monetary unit
is the Danish krone (DKK), divided into 100 øre.
As of March 2006 the exchange rates are
1 USD=6.22 DKK, 1 Euro=7.45 DKK, 1 GBP=10.80 DKK.
You can look at the current exchange rate for these and other currencies
here.
