Talk title: N=1 Gauge Superpotentials from Supergravity
Abstract:
We discuss some applications of the gauge/gravity correspondence to non-conformal gauge theories with N=1 supersymmetry. In particular we describe how the effective glueball superpotential of pure N=1 Super Yang-Mills and SQCD can be extracted from supergravity solutions describing fractional branes on orbifolds and on the conifold.
