
Talk title: Gaugino condensate and Phases of N=1 super Yang-Mills theories
Abstract:
In this talk I consider N=1 U(N) gauge theory with matter in the adjoint,
fundamental and antifundamental represantations. The aim is to describe the rich
structure of the space of the parameters defining this theory and how its
quantum properties are described in terms of Riemann surfaces.
In particular I discuss how different vacua can be related, in a way which helps
to count them. As a further application, these techniques will be used
to compute some physical quantities and effective superpotentials.
