
Talk title: Multispin string states and AdS/CFT spectroscopy
Abstract:
We review recent progress in the comparison of the energy spectrum of rotating closed strings in AdS_5xS^5 and anomalous dimensions
of the corresponding non-near-BPS operators in planar N=4 supersymmetric gauge theory. For states with two large spins we are
able to match the semiclassical string results with the one
loop gauge theory results (using relation between anomalous dimension matrix and a spin chain hamiltonian and integrability of the spin chain)
in a mathematically highly non-trivial fashion. This represents a remarkable
confirmation of AdS/CFT duality in non-BPS sector of states.
