Nordita Days on Slim Disks

The participants decided to work together in a few next
years on developing a numerical 3D, MHD code that will
describe slim disks in Kerr geometry. Radiative transfer,
and as much physics as possible, will be included. It is
hoped that, in particular, astrophysical phenomena of jets
and high frequency QPOs could be much better understood in
terms of numerical simulations that use such a code.

This is a major, very difficult and demanding, research
project.

Nordita Days on Slim Disks will be to discuss how to
organize and divide the work on the project. The known  
mathematical and other difficulties will be reviewed in   
a very detailed way, in practical technical terms.
